Getting Your Love Lock
It begins when you purchase your Love Lock, beautifully packaged just for you. Inside is a card sharing the meaning behind the project, along with a QR code that leads you to the story of the Love Smiles Gate and directions on where to find it. These little boxes make a personalized stocking stuffer – designed to be small in size but big in heart. Once you’ve chosen your lock, you can engrave it with a name, a date, a memory, or a wish.

Then comes the moment of connection: you take your lock to the Love Smiles Gate at Queen King Dental and place it among the hundreds of others, each one representing someone’s story of love, gratitude, or hope. After your lock is secured, you bring the key back inside the office to complete the final step.
Tree of Hope & Renewal
At our office, you’ll find our stainless-steel Tree of Hope & Renewal – a bonsai-like silhouette symbolizing growth, balance, and enduring strength. You’re invited to hang your key on one of its branches, adding your own touch to a living artwork that grows with every person who takes this journey. Your lock goes out into the world… Your key stays with us, on a tree that reflects the love and support of our entire community. And together, these gestures help support local causes, such as Charity of Hope, Sinfonia Ancaster, and Wayside House.

We’re partnering with the Charity of Hope on its vibrant seasonal event, which brings neighbours together for festive lights, local vendors, and holiday music. This year, we’re handing out our Love Smiles Here keepsake hand locks. Once you receive your personal lock, you can take a moment to reflect on gratitude or make a wish for the year ahead!
